The capital has plenty of entertainment after the fair
For example, there is a choice of some 6,000 restaurants and bars. For those who prefer to dance, Berlin has countless clubs that are just right for international visitors. There is plenty to attract movie fans too in the capital, from multiplexes showing the latest blockbusters to small movie theatres presenting independent productions.

Constructed using 400 tonnes of steel, the Funkturm attains a height of 126 metres. It is accessible from the Exhibition Grounds, and visitors can take a trip to the top every day between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m., except Mondays and Tuesdays, when the opening times are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The lift reaches the viewing platform in just 33 seconds, and it offers a magnificent panorama of Berlin and the Grunewald forest.
